  2. Once logged into your account, click on the tax exemption link.
  3. Select the applicable type of exemption for your organization or company and upload your certificate.

After the certificate has been uploaded, any applicable tax will be automatically removed from your order.

Can I cut panels to a different size after I receive them?

Our fabric-wrapped panels / clouds are wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric (on the front-facing side) and are shipped as a finished product. We generally do not recommend cutting, as that would require re-wrapping the panel / cloud.

How do I clean my fabric-wrapped acoustic panels?

Our fabric-wrapped acoustic panels, clouds and bass traps are cleanable with standard household cleansers.

You can find more information in our fabric cleaning instructions guide.

Are your acoustic panels suitable in drop-ceiling applications?

No, our acoustic panels are not sized to fit in a ceiling grid. Our fabric-faced ceiling tiles are nominally sized and are suitable for drop-ceiling applications.

Are your products available for local pick-up?

Due to the fact that our products ship from multiple warehouses, we do not currently offer a local pick-up option.

Do you offer your panels, clouds and bass traps in custom sizes?

Yes! We can custom cut any size acoustic panel, ceiling cloud or bass trap to your desired dimensions. Here’s how:

  1. Select the STANDARD panel, cloud or bass trap that is large enough for your needed custom cuts at our website.
  2. Under the “Custom Options” section on the product page, answer  “Yes” as to whether you require a custom size.
  3. Select the desired custom length and width, using the sliders that appear. If you do not see the dimension(s) you need on the slider, please double check your selected starting panel size.

If you are looking for a custom shape, then our polyester fabric wrapped core panels are your choice. We can customize our polyester panels into various shapes. Give us a call to learn more at (800) 569-4907.

Are your acoustic panels and clouds impact-resistant?

Our fiberglass core fabric wrapped panels are low impact-resistant, while our polyester core fabric wrapped panels are high impact-resistant. (Great for use in gyms, multipurpose rooms and classrooms.)

Do your acoustic panels and clouds block sound?

No, this product is not designed to block or prevent the transfer of sound from one space to another. This is a sound-absorbing product, and it is designed to effectively reduce echo, reverberation and ambient noise. By addressing these issues, these products can dramatically improve sound quality and speech intelligibility in a space.

To address sound-transfer issues from adjacent rooms or spaces,  sound-blocking products are required.  For some further explanation on the differences between these two concepts, click here for our video on sound blocking.

Please note that quality sound blocking products for walls requires adding layers of drywall, mass loaded vinyl, and green glue. While not overly complicated, these projects do require skills in drywall construction, and the ability to closely follow design instructions for creating a sound proof wall.

Do your clouds come with everything I need to install them?

All cloud purchases include the necessary “cloud-side” Rotofast hardware for ceiling suspension. Our 1″ clouds come with Rotofast Anchors and our 2″ clouds come with 2” Rotofast Extended Anchors. The Rotofast hardware creates eye-hook attachment point(s) on the back of the cloud for suspending. However, suspension cable (or wire, heavy duty monofilament, etc.) is not included, because customer preferences, lengths, and environment vary greatly. Likewise, the upper (ceiling attached) eye-hooks also are not included – again, because ceiling types and customer preferences vary greatly.

Hanging wire is available on our website. See your local hardware store or online hardware shop for other suspension options.

Do your panels and clouds have fabric on both sides?

Our panels and clouds have fabric on the front of the panel only. If you are looking for a panel with fabric on both sides for desktop or floor standing applications, you might consider gluing two panels together. We do not recommend hanging or suspending panels that you have glued together.
