All acoustic board is NOT created equal. MAXSORB™ panels use a 6 PCF high-density rigid fiberglass core for superior sound absorption and higher NRC performance than lower-density options. Available in 1″ (NRC 0.85) and 2″ (NRC 1.15) thicknesses, MAXSORB™ unwrapped acoustic panels deliver reliable sound absorption for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. The increased density improves acoustic performance across frequencies for clearer, quieter spaces.

These panels are high quality and easy to wrap. I put three 2-inch panels behind each floor speaker and 2 panels in each rear corner. 4 panels to cover the brick fireplace (the fireplace is stuffed with safe n sound) and panels as needed on the side and rear reflection points. Still need a ceiling cloud. Music and movies sound incredible. There’s no going back to life without acoustic panels.
